Ann E. Block

... is an independent consultant and senior business partner experienced in driving high-impact, effective operational and HR organizations. She is instrumental in developing/implementing programs targeted to advance core business objectives while maximizing employee performance. As the Senior Vice President of People for Frontier Airlines, Ann was responsible for the human resources functions and all corporate communications (internal communications and media relations). Under Ann’s leadership, the human resources organization became a respected business partner within the organization that championed and implemented multiple cultural initiatives. In addition, she was the executive for a major operational unit (In flight Services) during her career at Frontier.

She is an accomplished HR strategist with broad business operations background, strong change management skills and experience providing leadership during organizational change. Her extensive business experience has enabled her to translate complex business initiatives into people practices that achieve results. Ann has a proven track record of creating innovative solutions in tumultuous situations and the ability to keep a workforce engaged during a business crisis. She has demonstrated success in large and mid-size corporate organizations as well as in entrepreneurial environments.

Ann was a founding member for the Colorado Business Group on Health and a charter board member of the Rocky Mountain Human Resource Planning Society. She has served on numerous professional and nonprofit community boards as well. Ann received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from the University of Southern California.
